One cannot help but be captivated by Liverpool FC. No matter where they are from the globe, fans are drawn to this community that simply radiates a warm atmosphere of belongingness.
And this is exactly what Jack and his family had felt when they went to Liverpool for vacation! Jack plays with the U19 team of LFC IA SoCal, and has been under the guidance of Adam Rider, Glen Gamble, and Paul Caliguiri. Julie, Jack’s mom, has graciously shared with us their unique experience. Here are more reasons to fall in love with The Liverpool Way:

1. LFC fans are warm and welcoming
Despite coming from across the world, Jack and his family felt right at home! They enjoyed a sumptuous English breakfast at an Irish pub full of LFC fans. And as they explored the city, they observed how helpful everyone has been.

2. LFC has a unique culture
Liverpool traces part of its roots to Ireland, and, naturally, LFC fans love to chant and sing! It comes as no surprise at all that The Beatles themselves call Liverpool their home. After watching a phenomenal game at Anfield, fans chatted together and chanted as they walked out of the stadium.

3. LFC games are one of a kind!
Of course, a trip to Liverpool would not be complete without seeing the First Team in action. Jack and his family had a fantastic time watching LFC vs Bournemouth during the Premier League, describing the energy at Anfield as breathtaking and incomparable. Oh, and LFC won 3-1!
Summing up his experience, Jack said, “Seeing Anfield was an amazing experience. The aura around the stadium was breathtaking and the people were all so genuine and helpful.”

The energy as the game was starting was something that every kid hopes to play with behind their back one day. Seeing Liverpool come from behind to win was exhilarating. The atmosphere was beautiful. I loved the entire experience and would love to be back someday.”

Being part of the LFC family is unlike any other! Truly, You’ll Never Walk Alone.
