LFC IA SoCal’s Youth Referee Program for the month of August just finished, with the last in-person session on Wednesday, August 31st. We had a great turnout this preseason session, as 115 kids worked through the program. Most of them are really excited as recreational games start soon, and so are we!
This program is a great asset to LFC IA SoCal’s Junior Reds and Pre Club Academy programs. Our young kids will be able to learn all about the rules of the game and even perfect their throw-ins! For our club kids in the program, it is a great community service experience AND helps them become the role models of the future LFC IA SoCal player. After 4 Zoom meetings and 3 in-person training sessions, our club kids are ready to go!
