Players of the Month of May 2025!

-

Each month, we spotlight players who go beyond skill to exemplify the values that build great teams—dedication, sportsmanship, and a willingness to grow. May’s honorees showcase what it means to lead by example.

Grace Ok, G14 White Rashtian – Girls

Grace is a picture of growth. Her commitment to improvement is evident in her play, impressing both her coaches and teammates.

Grace is developing rapidly on the team as a rock solid defender. In a matter of a couple of months her play has really transformed and I’m very impressed by the development.

Brayden Dawood, B12 Flight 3 Milani – Boys

Great players aren’t just skilled—they lift the game for everyone around them. Brayden did just that, showing true sportsmanship during a key match.

On May 4th, we had a very important game against Chelsea OC, and all my players were determined to win this game. Before the game started, I noticed that the opponent had only 10 players, so I decided to ask one of my players, Brayden, to come off the field to ensure fair play and make it a 10v10 game. Brayden came off the field with a great attitude, and everyone admired him for his sportsmanship. Before the game started, he was very excited as always, but he showed how much he cares about fair play. He’s not just a great player on the field, but also a professional off the field. All the parents and players enjoyed the emotional moment that Brayden created.

James Cavallo, B14 Pre MLS Dolton – Academy

James has stepped into a new role with confidence and selflessness, showing his desire to learn and help the team. He was also named the Star Performer from this year’s Winter Camp, earning a coveted spot in Freddie Academy’s prestigious residential program in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Cavallo James has been phenomenal since joining the team from the EA2 group and established himself as a key player. He was playing at CM before and I challenged him to play RB to develop his overall understanding. He has since blossomed in both positions and his attitude to doing any job for the team is excellent. Myself and the boys love having him with the group! Well done. James!

Coach Max Dolton

Congratulations to Grace, Brayden, and James! Your growth, character, and commitment inspire us all.
