Each month, LFC IA SoCal takes pride in spotlighting remarkable players who exemplify the values of Liverpool, both on and off the soccer pitch. Here’s a glimpse into the standout performers from February:
Abby C.
Coach Rob Harrision was thoroughly impressed by Abby’s exceptional character and unwavering commitment to the success of the G12 Academy. When the team faced a shortage, Abby selflessly put the team’s needs above her own, demonstrating remarkable sacrifice and hard work that undoubtedly contributed to their achievements.
Through the most recent group stages of State Cup, Abby showed a great display of Commitment and Unity for the greater good of the G12 Academy. Due to the dates being pushed back, the team was short of some players, in particular the starting GK. Abby, a regular starting outfield player, recognized the situation and volunteered to step up and help the team. While slightly nervous, she was excellent in the two games she played and really put the team first on this occasion. Her commitment to helping the team this weekend was a great demonstration of the character Abby really is. Great job!
