LFC IA SoCal is proud to share the young soccer players who excelled in character and skill on and off the pitch! Here are the Players of the Month of August:
Academy Player of the Month – Grayson F.
Grayson is an incredibly talented young player who competes for two of our teams, 2014 EA 2 and 2013 EA 2. He moved from a competitive F1 team to join our club and has performed admirably. Coach Max Dolton has nothing but admiration for his talent, reliability, and calm demeanor that lifts up his team’s spirits.
“Grayson’s performances for my 2014 and 2013 EA2 teams have been phenomenal and he brings such joy to his teammates. His calmness is infectious and his performances have instilled confidence in both teams. Performances increase when a team knows they have a good GK behind them and Grayson has allowed his teammates to play full of confidence. I am delighted to have him on the team.” -Coach Max

Player of the Month for the Boys – Eli H.
Coach Victor Lightle describes Eli as the definition of Commitment. He goes out and beyond his responsibilities as a player, making him a model of Liverpool values inside and outside the pitch!
“Eli Huey, Is the definition of commitment, he is present at every practice, ready and eager to learn, always smiling and having a good time. Eli from day one has shown commitment to the team by being early to practices and matches often going the extra mile, helping with set up and clean up in addition to his contributions on the pitch. I am very fortunate and lucky to have him on our team.”

Player of the Month for the Girls – Layla L.
Recognizing the fruit of her hard work and commitment, Layla became the MVP at the OCSI Tournament Final! Layla fully deserves to be the Player of August for the Girls. Coach Paul Anderson attests to her unmatched commitment.
“Layla displays commitment every time she steps on the field. Always putting her heart and soul into everything, she was recently selected as the MVP of the OCSI Tournament Final by the opposition coach. She is a great example of our core value of Commitment in everything she does.”
