LFC IA SoCal is extremely proud to see our players grow and be recognized for their talent. The following ladies from G04/05 Academy-Gonzales are joining this year’s list of College Commitments!

Thalia Lopez

Thalia decided to stay close to home and play for the Hawks (Santiago Canyon College) this coming fall, and we are so happy for her! Thalia was the team captain, a true leader, and a strong center. Coach Carlos Gonzales said that she always made an effort to create a positive and fun environment in practice and games. He added, “Thalia has been a loyal, committed player to our club, and we are so thankful for her contribution. She is such a strong center and an amazing player! I have 100% confidence that T will continue to be successful on and off the field! We will miss you, T!”

Sydnee Salamoff

Sydnee will play at Irvine Valley College as one of the Lasers. A true definition of Commitment and Loyalty, Sydnee has played with LFC IA SoCal her whole career. Syd has always been an amazing goalkeeper, but she helped the team as a field player when needed. Truly, she is a solid teammate. Coach Carlos said, “She was always there for her team and will always have her teammates’ back, no matter what! She has a strong left foot and good hands. She knows how to make big saves when needed! I am so happy for Syd, and I know she will continue to crush it at the next level!”

Abbey Glover

Abbey will play college soccer as one of the Golden Lions at the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff! Abbey is known as a committed and hardworking player. She did everything within her ability to play at the next level and achieve her goal of playing DI soccer. Coach Carlos commented, “Abbey is a strong, powerful, athletic forward that loves to score goals! Thank you for your commitment to the team and the club!”

Lily Dukes

Lily is a strong athlete and excels academically, making Soka University the perfect fit for her. As the team’s goalkeeper, Lily has proven to be reliable. She is a leader, a good communicator, and a massive supporter of each member. Coach Carlos remarked, “Lily has been such a big part of our team! She is also always positive and supportive from the bench with coaching advice and encouragement! We will miss her positive energy and commitment, but I am happy for Lily, and I know she will continue to do great things!”

Jessica Sanchez

After much hard work throughout the college recruiting process, Jessica is now one of the Seawolves at Sonoma State University! She surely is a great addition to the Seawolves. Coach Carlos said, “Jess is a fast, athletic player who loves to attack and can shoot with her right and left foot! She can play anywhere on the outside, and I am excited to see her take her game to the next level!”

Sammy Miller

Also joining this group of college commits is Sammy, who will play with Sonoma State. He is the goalkeeper of B04//05 Academy-Caligiuri. Congratulations!
