Liverpool FC International Academy SoCal is thrilled to announce the hiring of US Hall of Fame soccer player, Paul Caligiuri, as the latest addition to their coaching staff.
With over three decades of experience as a professional soccer player, Caligiuri is a legend in the sport. He made history in 1989 when he scored the famous “Shot Heard Round the World” that helped the US Men’s National Team qualify for the World Cup for the first time in 40 years. His impressive career also includes stints with teams like the Los Angeles Galaxy, FC St. Pauli, and Columbus Crew.
Now, Caligiuri is bringing his wealth of knowledge and experience to Liverpool FC IA SoCal as he joins their coaching team. The Liverpool FC International Academy SoCal is an elite soccer training program that offers players of all ages the opportunity to develop their skills in a supportive and challenging environment. With Caligiuri’s guidance, young players in Southern California will have the opportunity to learn from one of the greatest soccer players of all time.
