A New Beginning, for LFC International Academy SoCal, started July 17th with an inspiring and high energy all-staff meeting to get the 2021/2022 season kicked off! The highlights of this event encompassed our 10-year plan, development of “The Liverpool Way”, The Power of Positive Leadership and Market Leading Customer Service workshops.

Staff had the pleasure of listening to Chad Busick on his presentation of “The Power of Positive Leadership” by Jon Gordon. Staff learned that positive leadership starts within themselves. Positive leaders drive positive cultures. 125 years of history and culture has been our biggest success. As we try to inspire our community of youthful players through motivation, a safe environment, and a foundation for trust, LFCIA is striving to set an example for the younger generation.
Apart of the staff training, Barbara Khozam, a Customer Service Consultant, delivered a fascinating presentation on “How to Deliver an Extraordinary Customer Service Experience”. Being a part of a professional soccer club means providing great customer service. Over the course of the presentation staff learned the rationale and statistics of customer service, reviewing customer service protocols, and how to deal with difficult people. Coaches came up with ideas on how to create relationships with not only players but with parents, as well.

Coaches and staff are eager and ready to start the 2021/22 season with new opportunities, and with this event it sure got everyone pumped to get out on the field to but lessons learned into action. With this new authentic curriculum young players will be taught The Liverpool Way and help them develop into the best players.

“Liverpool FC SoCal ‘New Beginning’ season kick off training day! Wow! It was really amazing to have our first in-person staff meeting after almost a year and a half of being restricted to online meetings. The energy in the room was fantastic and the guest speakers were really on point. It was great to finish the day with a staff social event and a bit of fun too!!” – Tim Woodcock CEO, LFCIA SoCal
