We’re proud to announce that Kota Yoshida and Matthew Phoenix Barajas from our 2012 MLS NEXT team have been recruited by the LA Galaxy Academy — one of the most prestigious youth programs in the nation.

Kota’s dedication, talent, and relentless work ethic have set him apart since day one. His technical ability and drive made him a leader on and off the field for the SoCal Reds, and this opportunity reflects the countless hours he’s put into mastering his craft.
While we’ll miss seeing Kota in the red jersey, we’re beyond excited to watch him chase new goals at the next level.
