LFC IA SoCal is delighted to introduce three new coaches, the latest additions to guide aspiring young soccer players in embodying The Liverpool Way on the field.

Thomas Brown
Coach Thomas Brown has been with LFC IA SoCal since September 2023. He is equipped with an FA Level 1 Coaching License and a coaching background that includes stints with Parkdale FC, Weetabix Wildcats, and Footy Factory. Before transitioning to coaching, Thomas showcased his skills on the field with Sidac Social and Rainhill United. His academic foundation includes a BA Hons in Sports Coaching and Development.
Driven by a passion for continuous improvement, Coach Thomas is eager to refine his coaching techniques while teaching with new players. He emphasizes the importance of leveraging the ball strategically and playing fluid football as fundamental elements for success on the field.

Dan Graff
Holder of a National D License and NSCAA Goalkeeper Level 2, Coach Dan Graff boasts an impressive goalkeeper coaching journey dating back to 2011. His expertise extends from the University of La Verne to California State University, San Bernardino, and coaching roles with Claremont Stars SC, Inland Empire Surf SC, Empire SC, and Riverside City FC, where he served as the Girls’ Director.
On the field, Coach Dan’s playing experience includes stints with Arsenal SC, Corona United SC, California Baptist University, and California State University, San Bernardino.
At the heart of his coaching philosophy is the belief in cultivating a positive environment for both individual and team development. His alignment with LFC IA SoCal is rooted in shared values. He has been with our team since October 2023.

Martin Ortiz
Introducing Coach Martin Ortiz! Holder of a USSF National D License, Coach Martin brings valuable experience from coaching at Manchester City Soccer Academy and UK International Soccer. On the field, he played for La Sierra University and holds an Associates Degree in Sports Journalism.
Coach Martin’s coaching philosophy centers on ensuring youth soccer players have fun, acquire new skills, and cultivate a genuine passion for the game. His goal is to guide young players to reach their full potential both on and off the field, inspiring a love for soccer akin to his own. He added, “I believe that soccer is not only a sport, but also a way of life that teaches valuable lessons such as teamwork, discipline, and respect. I try to create a positive and safe environment where players can express themselves, challenge themselves, and grow as individuals and as a team.”
Joining our team in November 2023, Coach Martin was drawn to the academy’s commitment to developing well-rounded individuals who excel both on and off the pitch. He appreciates the opportunity to provide young soccer enthusiasts with insights from a successful European model.
